A NEW SCHOOL BUILDING DEDICATED TO THE STUDENTS
REMEMBERING: “I saw God’s hands reaching down, picking up children who were sitting in the dusty streets and lifting them up onto the rooftop of a Palace.” God has heard the prayers of his children. He looked down and saw His illiterate, poverty stricken people and heard their cries. He worked in the hearts of many people who came alongside of them, He provided the means to buy a school for them, and God has taken them from the dust into a place of Hope!
The new school building has been such a blessing as it provides for the much needed

space that was lacking. The students are now able to move about in their classrooms,
and have a recess/assembly area. There is also a room for the principal to work out of and have a place to meet with the parents, teachers and students.

In October we witnessed the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new school building. It was so much fun to watch the student’s excitement! Some of them held the red ribbon as Pastor Nazir cut it. Then came the cheers accompanied with throwing confetti and spraying dissolving foam on their teachers, administrators, and each other.
MORNING PRAYER ASSEMBLY

School is held 6 days a week and their day begins at 8:00AM when the children gather in the inner courtyard for the morning assembly. They have a time of prayer, singing Christian songs, and reciting Bible verses. They are also learning the books of the Bible. The assembly ends with prayer and singing their National Anthem.
Then, they line up by class and go through inspection of their uniform and hygiene. From there they go to their individual classrooms for their studies. The school day ends at 12:30PM.
THIRD YEAR

The school has just started its third year! It is so exciting as the enrollment is up to 350 students! Twenty-five of which enrolled in just the last week. One-third of the illiterate children in the colony are now studying in the school and are no longer street children without a future. Praise God they are now filled with hope!
The library has been started with about 40 books that we brought with us last October when we went on a Mission Trip. We purchased them for 10 cents each at the Salvation Army. The students are being introduced to the idea of taking a book home to read for their enjoyment. They are also encouraged to read the story to their parents and siblings.

Many new textbooks had to be purchased for the new school year. The textbooks in Pakistan are not hard cover but are a workbook that the students write in. However, they were all turned in, checked over and recycled as much as possible. Another necessary purchase was desks. Seventy additional ones were bought. As the enrollment continues to increase, so do the needs for supplies and equipment.
The students all needed new uniforms this year as they each have only one that they wear six days a week. So after a year, they were very worn out. The parents are doing their best to provide their children with a new uniform.
SUPPORT
We are so thankful to those of you who are coming alongside the children’s education! This monthly support is what will keep the school going. 100% of your contribution goes directly to the student’s tuition and it is all-inclusive! All of their supplies, books, staff payroll, and utilities are covered by this amount!
As student enrollment increases, the opportunity to come alongside of the students with tuition support also increases! The cost to educate a child is $2 US per month for the lower grades and $5 per month for the upper grades.
